Hackathon for a Better World 2026

As part of the run-up to the Legal Profession Symposium 2026 (LPS 2026), DBS, SG Courts and SAL will be organising Hackathon for a Better World 2026 — a platform for the profession to move from identifying challenges to developing practical solutions.

The Hackathon will cover three areas that emerged from discussions at LPS 2025:

  • Internationalisation
  • AI-enabled legal practice
  • Sustainable legal careers

To help inform the Hackathon process, we invite members of the profession to share their perspectives through the 3 short questions below.

“Which of the following would encourage the seeking out and the pursuit of international opportunities in your firm?”

“Which of the following would encourage greater AI adoption in your firm?”

“Which of the following would reduce burnout and improve career sustainability?”

The responses will help surface the considerations, constraints and priorities experienced across the profession. These insights may help inform the design thinking workshops during the Hackathon and the discussions at LPS 2026.

Your perspectives will help inform the Hackathon discussions — we invite you to share your views in the poll below:
